Neustadt (also called Rechte Altstadt) sits on the right bank of the Salzach, anchored by Schloss Mirabell and its famous gardens. Linzer Gasse is the main shopping artery. The district blends Gründerzeit architecture with modern developments and offers excellent transport connections via the Hauptbahnhof nearby. Upscale but slightly more accessible than Altstadt.
